Optical Transport Track

The optical network is a remaining bastion of proprietary vertically integrated systems. The ONF community is embracing the use of disaggregation, SDN control and open source to enable a new wave of multi-vendor innovation and interoperability. NTT, Telefonica and others are pursuing this within the ONF, and ONF Connect will offer unique opportunities to see demos and learn about this exciting work. ONF projects ODTN and TAPI will be featured, along with related work.
